AIGI Satellite Ground Station

All the proof you need, to see that Norwegians know how to design a good looking watch. Drawing inspiration from Antarctic satellite stations, this piece is a proper conversation starter.

DESIGN
It looks fantastic. I love the look of the integrated bracelet, and the dial options are great. I went for the slightly gimmicky World Dial as I think it works very well with the Satellite second hand.

MOVEMENT
While the Sellita upgrade comes in at a 170$ premium over the NH35 variant, it's a solid and reputable Swiss movement.

BUILD QUALITY
I was nervous about this. As this is by far the most expensive microbrand watch I have ever owned, my demands were high. I'm happy to say that I have no complaints. Crown feels good, everything lines up, nothing rattles.

BRACELET
The bracelet integrates perfectly with the case. The design is coherent and original, while not straying too far from what we know from other brands. I kinda miss micro adjust options.

X-FACTOR
Tons of it! Steel from a satellite station, satellite second hand, Norwegian microbrand, lumed stars on the dial. Yeah, it's dangerously close to being too gimmicky, but I love that.

CONCLUSION
It's more expensive than other microbrands I have tried. It's also better. Want it cheaper? Get the NH35 version.
